Endowment

Endowment

In 1347 AH, Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Rajhi – may God have mercy on him – was born in Al Bukayriyah Governorate in Al Qassim Region, in the middle of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he grew up in a house of religion, goodness and generosity. He started his work in trade since he was seventeen years old – with a small amount of money – until he reached the good he reached. He – may God have mercy on him – always used to say (What I have reached is not by my effort or thinking, but by the grace of God, and what brings the most blessing in money is charity). From that certainty and firm faith, Sheikh Abdullah Al Rajhi – may God have mercy on him – began charitable work and developing the land from an early age. He started by endowing 30,000 fruitful palm trees, then he reached more than 150,000 palm trees, in addition to some investment endowments.
